The Whitecross visit generated a lot of interest among children and teachers on both sides and they did some good work together. The highlights were:
- a visit to Chowbaga (where they met the local people and interacted with them- they also taught them to make beautiful paper bags, to save water, and to keep their surroundings clean.)
- The UK team participated whole-heartedly in Kolaahal. our cultural fest.
- Living with host families was a huge learning experience
- A tour of the city was also very interesting.
- The UK children explored various facets of Indian life and culture
We look foreward to meeting again!!!!
